What is ICPKP?

The International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice (ICPKP) is the world’s foremost provider of course material and assessment tools in kinesiology, the science of energy balancing.

The ICPKP was founded in 1998 by medical doctor, Dr Bruce and his wife Joan to meet the needs of students all over the world for an internationally recognised training programme in kinesiology.

The course material is based on the world-renowned Professional Kinesiology Practice workshops (PKP I – IV) which have been taught in 20 countries around the world and translated into 8 languages.

ICPKP is not itself a training college.  ICPKP does not take students or run courses in kinesiology.   ICPKP provides teaching materials and assessment tools to colleges who wish to teach this material and provides the international certification for those who complete the courses.

Why choose PKP?

PKP stands for Professional Kinesiology Practice.  PKP is an internationally recognised programme that allows students to work with and gain a solid understanding in working with the physical body, the emotional body and the energy body. Our approach when working with clients is very hands on and holistic. What makes PKP stand out from other Kinesiology courses is the powerful protocol that is taught that gives our students a safe and effective framework to work with a variety of different clients and health issues. The Kinesiology techniques that are taught throughout the entire Kinesiology Diploma have consistently assisted clients to make rapid changes in their health and wellbeing.

How does Kinesiology work?

-Kinesiology (Kin-easy-ology) is the most comprehensive of the modern natural therapies. It is easy to learn and easy to apply. In a single day you can learn  kinesiology techniques that will boost your energy and  help you handle day-to-day stress situations.

Kinesiology does not treat  symptoms or signs of named diseases. Kinesiologists look at the whole person and think in terms of a triad of health. They place equal emphasis on all sides of the triangle. Some health care systems emphasise nutrition, some concentrate on nutritional, chemical, mental or psychological aspects of ill health. Still others look only at structure or the exercise component. The result is an unbalanced triangle or one-sided view of health or disease.

Each of us is special, unique and different. Inside our head we all have our own personal bio-computer that has been programmed by both our genetic make up and our life experiences. Our body is like the VDU (visual display unit) or monitor for our bio-computer and it lets us (and everyone else) see how well our bio-computer is coping with life.  Kinesiology is a way of talking to your bio-computer
